Increase Twitter CTR Conversions (Prelude)
We often ask ourselves if folks actually take the time to click on our ads and hence focus on click-through rate conversions (ctr conversions). Considering that most people are researching something specific, when they arrive at your site you’ll be happy to know it is estimated that 85% of the click action occurs on the left side of most web pages
. Folks don’t usually tend to pay attention to the advertisements on your site, and there is a reason for this.
We Ignore Advertisements!
Consider this, throughout your day you probably see more than a few thousand advertisements of which only a few you might be able to recall right now. However, if you are like me, you may not even remember one! That is, unless you have a need for something that was advertised and then you go ahead and click on an ad and strengthen someone’s ctr conversions. We see advertising on billboards, on storefront windows, on buses, cabs, trailers, 18-wheelers, and in the grocery store. Over the years, we’ve managed to learn how to selectively choose the adverts that matter to us and ignore the rest!
It is important to understand that not all people ignore advertising offers. They only ignore the adverts that are irrelevant to their needs and or wants. Just yesterday I saw and advertisement on a site where I was gathering information in regards to Ovation Guitars. I’m currently interested in learning more about these guitars so that I might purchase one in the near future. The site offered various options in terms of purchasing a guitar and I clicked a few of the ads that pertained to my desired want; I would otherwise have ignored the ads all together. So what should we (niche market builders) do to focus more at ctr conversions?
So What Do We Do To Maximize CTR Conversions?
As Niche Market Builders, it’s our desire to display ads that are easily accessible and noticed by people who are looking a specific thing. Creating a PPC campaign that outlines specific products work best primarily because you can measure your ctr conversions through stat analytics. However, here is a good piece of advice, stop wasting your time trying to convert people into buyers with your website, focus on converting them directly from the PPC ad itself and/or any other type of advertising tool you use (Twitter Tweets). Be very specific in your ad or tweet, this leads valuable traffic to your site versus quantitative traffic that will only distort your ctr conversions data.
Stay tuned and sign up for the RSS. I’m currently working on an article that explains how the above stated information can be put to good use through twitter and how you can effectively form tweets and blog/page titles that produce higher ctr conversions.
